Our active contribution to environmental protection

Last year, over 75,000 shipments or, in other words, over 110,000 pallets were exchanged among Cargo24's partners. This saved 30-50 trucks a day or 9,000-15,000 truck kilometers a day. In the year the emission of over 1'000 tons of CO2 could be avoided.

Today, the term city logistics is used to try to reduce the number of trips and traffic in urban areas. We have been doing this for the whole of Switzerland for several years. Since the foundation of Cargo24, the number of exchanged shipments among the transport companies could be continuously increased and thus an active contribution to environmental protection could be made.

Instead of compensating for environmental emissions somewhere, we try to reduce them ourselves or, even better, to prevent them from occurring at all.
